Unsealed Road - Album Launch - 'Love in the Key of Dogs'
Live Music, Launch
DONATION // FREE ENTRY
Join us, as the west’s own, Unsealed Road, launch their new album ‘Love in the Key of Dogs‘ at Mamma Chen’s in Footscray on Sunday 24th March, from 3pm.
This is a free entry gig and fundraiser for Lifeline. This is a cause close to our hearts as the album and event is dedicated to Brendan Burns who we (Catherine, Bill and me, Pete) lost in 2020 to suicide after a long battle with mental health issues. Our son Brendan was a beautiful young man, kind, funny and brave and it was his legendary love for dogs that inspired the album (Streaming now on Spotify, Apple, youtube…).
Whilst entry to the event is free, Cath has created a Lifeline page for donations and we have a QR code on the poster that will take you there.
The gig include’s sets from Footscray future legends ‘Bowlos‘ (featuring Bill Burns, Brendan’s big brother) and also the amazing songwriter Noah Coleman (Noah and the Coldmen).
Please support Lifeline’s great work if you can and come along to Mamma Chen’s for a fantastic afternoon of songs and stories.
Mamma Chen’s acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the true owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
