UNDERSTANDING PALESTINE with Yousef Alreemawi at Mamma Chen’s

The very first of our monthly events at Mamma Chen’s to learn about Palestine! This first session will explore the topic “What can storytelling offer us in the dark times? Tales from Palestine” by Yousef Alreemawi from Averroes Centre of Arab Culture.

Australian refugee support group established in 2008 that provides language and legal support to Palestinian families fleeing conflict zones in Iraq and Syria, and genocide in Gaza.

The entrance of Mamma Chen’s is on Albert St, with ramp access for mobility aids.
There is an accessible parking spot and bathroom available.
There will be seats available.
There will be earplugs available and strictly no use of strobe lighting.
