Singin' For Change: Accessible Stage Fundraiser
Open Mic, Fundraiser, Live Music
FREE ENTRY // DONATION
1 in 5 humans have a disability, so why don’t we see more disabled musicians, drag queens, comedians etc? Coz there are almost ZERO accessible stages in Naarm, and very few globally. That’s why we’re raising money for an accessible stage lift at Mamma Chen’s….
EVERYONE DESERVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM, SHARE THEIR STORIES AND ART!
This fundraiser will be FREE/Donation entry, plus our good friends at Mamma Chen’s are donating 20% of the bar… so come have a drink! Grab some Ethiopian from next door for dins.
WHAT IS SINGIN’ FOR CHANGE?!
1. Pick a song for Dave to play on piano
2. Come and belt it out (duet or group songs are welcome)
*Chords & Lyrics will be projected on stage.
3. DM @softbutchmedia to sign up and claim ur songs, coz the list of Special Guests is getting long already!
…or just come along and watch the debauchery unfold ❤

We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the traditional owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
