Vigilantonie 'Peroxide' Single Launch with Simo Soo & Hayley Crymble
Live Music, Single Launch
$15 + BF
Vigilantonie writes her blues into pop that’s pure pink! Blending devastating lyrics with sticky dance beats, Vigilantonie alchemises her hard life lessons into a dank strain of pop so powerful, it gets the heaviest hearts high. With bangers covering religious trauma to sugar daddy ethical dilemmas to abandonment issues, Vigilantonie makes big bold girlie pop to hype n heal herself and anyone else who feels somehow too much and not enough.
Her post-girlboss bimbo anthem Peroxide reclaims being underestimated, sl^t-shamed, dismissed as ~dumb~. It captures Vigilantonie’s surrender to the c^nty comradery and unstoppable energy of queer community – subverting the patriarchy just by existing. So to celebrate its release, Vigilantonie is throwing a queer AF bimbo-adjacent launch party with Racerage and Hayley Crymble.
Racerage is a queer Blak radical rapbrat; spitting bars and shattering white fragility with hard-hitting lyricism, smooth harmonies and wry wit. Racerage infuses dark electronic hiphop with defiant punk energy and their unique technicolour DIY aesthetic. They collab primarily with other BIPOC, queer and trans producers and artists, to create frosty politi-cute protest rap. Prepare for powerful truth-telling: real, raw, clawed from their core.
Hayley Crymble is a singer/songwriter who creates music from the comfort of her bedroom. Collaborating with a range of producers, a luscious blend of sparkly synth lines and hard hitting 808s comes together to create tracks with a main character energy. She aspires to be a pop princess, using autotune and harmony stacks to pave her own unique spin on hyperpop.
