EDITH LANE
If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Edith Lane, know that their sound is a melting pot of genres ranging from the loud and chaotic to the quiet and ethereal. Their dynamic sound and elaborate song writing is akin to the likes of Radiohead and My Bloody Valentine, but their music has carved out its own uniqueness.
AMBUR
Hailing from the industrial west of Naarm/Melbourne, Ambur blend Australiana noise punk, heavy shoegaze and indie stylings to create a sound that is equal parts sharp and cunningly introspective yet brimming with chaotic and absurdist extroversion.
Driven by their unusual instrumentation of electric violin, modulated bass, sonic loops and drums, the trio lyrically explore the state of being in modern life accompanied by dreamy, swirling melodies and forcefully taut rhythmic sections.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the true owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
