Bursting with sweetness and soul, Pо̄neke-based indie dream-rock songstress Sofia Machray is an electric master of the singer-songwriter gone rogue. Described by international pop-culture magazine Atwood as ‘New Zealand’s brightest new singer-songwriter’, her catalog stretches out over moody rockers and soft-burning hooks holding vast soundscapes backed by Robbie Pattinson on pedal steel and baritone guitar. Machray was quick to win the hearts of music lovers close to home and abroad after the release of her debut record ‘Language Of Flowers.’ The record received tremendous support from both international and local media, which has led her to tour nationally on multiple occasions and to share stages with world-renowned indie icons such as Chet Faker, Palace, Lime Cordiale, COTERIE, and Soaked Oats, making her a strong forerunner in New Zealand’s independent scene.

Ingrid Saker is the lead guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of popular NZ blues rock band Ingrid and the Ministers. Drawing comparisons to Joan Jett and The White Stripes, Ingrid achieves a rare balance of vigorous raw emotion and humble greatness. Her solo act is a softer, expansive journey through her classic blues influences, highlighting her mastery of blues guitar and soulful vocals.

Japes (solo) is the project of Mia Kelly (she/they), a musician, producer, DJ, and broadcaster originally from Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) and now residing in Naarm (Melbourne). Japes showcases a piece-meal approach to genre, juxtaposing treated guitars, sonic art, and deep bass to concoct a thoughtful, heady blend.
