Who doesn’t love an afternoon of great music? Even more so when it’s a free event!

Well thanks to The Fizzoes, Monsteria, and The Midnight Express, we have a great day for you. With all original music featuring Classic Rock, Alt Rock, Punk, Pop, Hard Rock, Dark Glam, there will be something for everyone who likes great music. There’s never been a better time than a Saturday arvo to see these three great bands playing together for the first time.

LINEUP:

The Fizzoes are a four piece hailing from west of the Yarra harnessing an energetic pop-punk alternative rock style to engage and be out of your seat for. Featuring songs from all four members they will take you on a musical journey that will have you either tapping your feet, shaking your hips, banging your head, or all and more.

Using their previous band experience from across the world, before coming together in 2025, their all originals approach is a fresh experience for your ears.

The Fizzoes feature Sonny (vocals and drums), Tarun (vocals and guitar), Jamie (vocals, bass, and guitar), and Bec (vocals, guitar, keys, and bass)

Monsteria is a band of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who have come together to create a monstrous meld of creativity. Drawing on years of experience performing in a variety of bands, the members bring a diverse range of influences to their music. They have combined their talents to create a sound that is both familiar and unpredictable.

Their original songs blend alternative rock and classic rock and roll, combining catchy melodies with distinctive stories and moods. From driving riffs to haunting melodies, each track offers something different, taking listeners on its own unique journey.

Monsteria features Jo Richards (vocals and bass), Ferrett Silverfish (vocals & guitar), and Darren Spiteri (Backing vocals & drums).

The Midnight Express are an alternative rock band, a raw heady cocktail infused with shades of Dark Glam, embers of Hard Rock, overtones of Soul infused Post Post Punk, roaring with passion, ignited by sparks of life’s raging fire!

With 2 strong songwriters, and a unique dual front person approach, they have developed a darkly evocative repertoire of songs that bleed with raw emotion, and please the soul with foot stomping riffs, and soul rending harmonies. Their gritty takes on society and relationships in a dystopian post-modern world are delivered with power and intensity – like being punched in the face by a runaway train.

The Midnight Express feature Rob (vocals and guitar), and Maree (Vocals and bass).

Mamma Chen’s acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the true owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
